So I’ve been trying to make as many bracelets, necklaces, earrings & candles (yes, Miss Hen loves her some candles too) as I can before my upcoming trip to Charleston, South Carolina. I have a little over a month left to go and have made quite a few pieces and sold many, so I have to make more. LOL I guess that’s the whole point right? I’m having a lot of fun releasing my creativity, whether it’s with photography, jewelry, candle making and card making. I’m always up for learning how to do new things, and with this crazy world we live in, it’s a welcome distraction. I recall back in 2007 I bought myself a beautiful necklace at Fern’s Garden in Belmont Shore. It’s silver and has a hammered metal disc with the word “CREATE”. I bought it to remind myself to use my God Given talent to be creative in all that I do. I am most happy when I am being creative, and sometimes with the craziness of life, we can get caught up in distractions and lose sight of things we love to do. Anyways, I always put on my special necklace whenever I feel like I need a little rekindling, and it works! Maybe it’s a mental thing, or maybe it is magic? I’m just glad to be doing the things I love to do and bringing a little joy to others.
